Somewhere in the spring of 1995 when lounge music was making a comeback, Dickie decided to entertain a local audience. He started spinning at the Augenblick bar on Damen Avenue in Chicago. When this became very popular he was asked to do this as a regular event at Vinyl, Holiday Club and Joy Blue. From there he was flown to over a dozen cities in the country to promote a CD release by Hollywood Records. Camel Cigarette company paid for this tour. When he returned he DJ’d and produced numerous events at bars & restaurants in the Chicago area. For years he was the city’s biggest lounge figure spinning at some of the most popular establishments.       Bottoms up!
